Just as with on-campus events, your off campus events also need to be registered when you are doing organized activity in the name of your organization. Your Program Advisor (SPA) is your primary contact for registering these events.
Be sure to read this section carefully as you begin the planning and discussion of your event. It will aid in assuring that your plans are in line with your organization's responsibilities as BSU recognized organizations.
Your steps to planning an off-campus event.
1. Select a date and develop an idea of what you would like to do.
2. Meet with your Student Program Advisor to review the components of planning your event. Keep in mind that often times there are contracts, transportation rentals, etc. involved and that unique policy issues come into play with off campus events.
3. Complete the Off Campus Event Registration form.
